My wife and myself have been volunteering at the Forney museum for over five years. The team of volunteers is a wonderful group of history buffs and gear heads. At the end of every year they host an appreciation dinner. The top volunteers are awarded with an award to say thank you.

We designed and manufactured the awards for two years in a row.

This design was inspired by the Union Pacific Railroad emblem that is famously placed on the front of the Forney Museums Big Boy Locomotive.

This was a special award for a volunteer that had been with the Forney for many years. We made the award slightly larger and added the brass hardware to differentiate it from the other awards.

This version of the award was inspired by the entrance to the Forney Museum.

We made a slightly larger award for the volunteer of the year.

Without their amazing volunteers the Forney Museum would not be able to operate.
